    2000 gpr - overhauled!!!

I bought the ski last summer for 2000 dollars, added works intake grate, pump seal, jet works, relocated battery, rebuilt/rejetted carbs, d-plate, mats, paint, new rails, mline seat cover, bildge pump, fly handlebars, gear oil in pump, and alot of other little stuff..nothing done to motor...wanted it set up for rough water...so i left the stock plate on.

ran it on gps it was getting 68.3 at 7100 rpms...

what does every body think i need to get to 70.....im thinking one of Jims plates...head..

Reeds, milled head, flame arrestors and an 05 pump should get you there. Depending on your jetting, you should have enough power to spin a 14/20 dynafly.

Jims FF plate alone will put you over 70 easily.

Right but it will not be as much fun to ride in rough water as the stock plate.
