    RXT Opas Block Offs

Is there a "pro" version for the rxt? not just the plates, but the plastic pieces that actually extend the hull a lil? I dont like the idea of just plates, but i dont know if the pro ones for the rxp will fit.

Maybe Jerry can find out for us. Someone needs to make them for us three seaters. I'm with you on the plates. I think they look like crap.

I mentioned that in another thread.

Jerry, can't you find someone to make these up for us RXT guys?
I know that Steve would buy the first set!

Let's get a count of RXT owners that would buy a set of RE Pro Blockoffs or similar. Maybe Jerry can get someone to manufacture for the RXT if we have enough RXT owners interested.

Race Engineering was going to make them, but then changed their mind because they claimed they didn't like the way the ski handled with them on. Now keep in mind these are hardcore CC racers. I wish they would make some for the RXT/GTX platform as i know that they will help with the porpoising. Most of us could care less about going around buoys right? Besides, the skegs will help with that

    Jerry,

I am concerned about handling probably more than most. I ride with some ex-closed course racers and we ride fast and hard...and yes we like to ride around imaginary buoys.

If RE didn't like the handling then I would need to think twice about this.
As for porposing, not an issue with the wedge removed along with ride plate and intake grate matched to hull.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Now my question is did they not like them versus the regular block off plate or having opas on? If it was an improvment over the paddles being on there I would buy them. I don't see how they could help the RXP but hurt the RXT. Jerry you need a RXT so you can test and evaluate all the product that is available for them

the main reason why RACE ENGINEERING dit not start the production , is the small market for RXT Block Offs in Europe.

    Yeah, what Rusty Sea said!

HAS ANYONE TRIED TO SEE IF THEY FIT?

Or are we just going by what RE is saying?

Somedays I feel like a bastard child owning an RXT/GTX-Ltd
