    Tilt steering conversion parts list.

I was going to offer a conversion kit for sale, but I really don't have the time to get involved in it. I am told that this is the list of parts you will need to do the conversion.

    277000764 adjuster handle
    234082600 flat washer 8mm
    232180600 nut M8
    277000786 stopper bushing
    211000145 adjuster screw
    277000761 block
    277000901 steering support
    277000762 stopper
    293830098 rubber pad
    277000763 threaded pivot (x2)
    250000004 screw M10x73
    277000844 support bushing (x2)
    234001600 flat washer 10mm
    232100600 nut M10
    293750021 clamp tie
    293150008 pop rivet 3/16"
    277000758400 steering stem
    207087060 screw M8x70 (x4)
277001132 handle bar (you may be able to use your stock handlebar)
    277000766 plate
277000142 steering clamp (optional) I would replace it, after being torque and re-used they could break.

You guys may want to check with Richard (way2fast) on prices. He's a great guy to deal with!

My buddy sells all of these parts, he is going to put them all togather as a kit and have a price in a couple of days.
I will post his info when he is finished.

David, have him find out if it's absolutely necessary to change the handlebar. That would save $50 off the cost if we didn't.

I will have him look into the bar issue.
He gets parts pretty cheap, so I do not know how to compare their prices to his.
In the past I have found that cost on some things is a lot lower than others. He may save me $5 on one thing but turn around and save 50% on another and there is never any rime or reason for the difference.

Are there enough parts to do some assembly before he shipped out the kits or is it not worth the effort to do this???

He has a couple of guys that could do this but as you can guess it costs money.

I am going to look in the manual and see what is involved and possibly go ahead and do my boat or his to get a list of instructions and pictures.

I had previously priced out the parts for the steering change for Jerry. They cost me $271.86. One part that is on Jarretts list and wasn't on the list Jerry gave me is 277000142, steering clamp. I didn't add that part on to my total but it should be in the $5 range.

Actually, I don't care about the ability to move them up and down. I would just like them permanently up. Are there less parts you need if you just want it in the up position constantly?
