15F R&D Powershot.
Im buying a barely used Powershot Fuel tuner from my friend for my 08 ' 15F.
Has anyone else messed with the powreshot much & if so any noticble performace?.?
Just would like some feedback from you other guys with 15F's.
15F is Stock,but Purchasing R&D PowerPlenum too.

i doubt that you'll see any difference except decreased fuel economy. you need some pretty significant mods to justify a powershot. your stock ECU will adjust to the increased air from the filter, and an entire RPM kit for that matter. the power shot helps when the ECU cant adjust.

hmmmm i just saw this on the r&d site .....

has anyone used one on offshore kit ? does this mean u can use your stock ecu/cdi and plug the powershot in between? i wonder how the adjustability is ?

Dont go for the endurance/offshore kit, aint worth it !
We tried on 2 boats.
My race stock 15F 66,1 mph, my offshore kit 15F 66 mph...
But alot faster on closed course because of 155 mm magnum-pump with auto drop nozzle.
Also tried the R&D powershot, no difference.

so u were runnin stock pump w/ 66 mph runs?? what rpms ?

Yeah.My friend has an 07 15F with the R&D Peformer Kit. He only uses the PowerShot when he's racing but he's selling his craft.
apparently..theres a slight difference in rpm's & holeshot when he uses it..but yeah does tend to burn more fuel. Are there things i can do to improve my holeshot?
