Question Brain picking....oil blockoff or not

I need your thoughts....I'm working on a 94 WB1. I am trying to decide if i should install a oil block off plate on it. I have heard of the old injection systems failling and cannonballing the engine....I really don't want that.(I don't need any more projects!!! So, how reliable is the yamaha oil injection on the older skis...should i or shouldn't i?????.....please chime in with your opinion.

    Thanks K O

I love the oil injection system... BUT it has so many ways to fail... Dropped Oil line, clog, cable fail, pump fail, oil driesw up....

Pre-Mix is the only way to know if you are getting lubed.

Definitely go pre-mix...might take an extra 10 seconds when filling up but at least you a guarenteed to get oil to where it needs to be
