I Joined The 70 MPH Club
I don't think there is such a club, but if there was one I would now be there. I finally got all my mods installed and I ran 70.3 @ 7960 rpms. Man, with the X-Charger and the XS Intercooler, it woke up the holeshot tremendously. It pulls solid all the way to top end. Now I need to do some tuning. As soon as I build up the funds, I am going to buy a boost gauge and an A/F gauge. I have no idea what the A/F mixture is or if I have a boost leak. It doesn't feel like I have a boost leak though. The fuel pressure is set at 60 psi. I need to refill two of my rideplate holes, but overall I am extremely happy. I feel that with the right prop tuning, it still has a little more left in it. If I could get about 150 more rpms, how much mph is that? My goal was originally 75 mph, but I had no idea how hard that was going to be for a RXT. I give props to all the guys close to and over 75 mph. I am thankful for all the great advise I have received here and I'm sure I'll be needing more fine tuning my combo. I want to push my current combo as far as I can. Maybe a prop change, but I'd like to keep the major mods the same. Maybe the next time I take it out to test the speed I'll lay off filling it up with fuel on the way there. Take care and looking forward to reading some feedback tomorrow while I'm pretending to work.

What should be my next step? Pro-Series Reduction Nozzle, Boost and A/F Gauge, Tweaking Prop, 15/20 Prop.... etc? I am happy, but I'd like more. My signature is up to date with the current mods. If you guys don't mind looking it over and suggesting some improvements.

do you have 2 degree pump wedge and trim your reverse bucket gate si it wont catch part of your aqua stream being squirted out?

did you trim your reverse bucket. Also, burn off some of that fuel. each gallon is like 7-8 lbs up front. Less lift

Adding a pump wedge and trimming your reverse bucket will give you bow lift and increase your speed slightly.
