98-99 SLH/SLX Aluminum Seat Brace Replacement
I had some bad luck a couple of weeks ago. The seat support brace part # 5432655 cracked in half on my 99 SLX. I ordered one from the dealer only to find that after they called Polaris they where told that Polaris no longer stocks that part and it is no longer going to be produced. So I have approached a machine shop to build a new one out of 1/4” to 3/8” aluminum. Since I will have already paid for the setup and CAD drafting of the first part I wanted to know if anyone else would be interested in purchasing one as well. I am not sure what the cost would be but I know the first one will NOT be cheap ;-( Anyway let me know if you would be interested and how much you think it would be worth to you. The last price I saw for the OEM plastic/Fiber part was $47.50. Let me know guys….. I will get pics up once it is done.
