So at 100hrs all RX(P/T) need to have their supercharger rebuilt?

Paid for by the owner or it voids any warranty you have left? If true, this will have an impact on my purchasing decision.

That's sure what it sounds like. I guess you could always hold on to the $1000 gas card and pay for 2 rebuilds with it... Ron

Yes if you would like to keep your warranty you have to have it done. This is the reason I will NOT buy a new seadoo like I planned.

The clutch on the supercharger is a wear item, just like a clutch in a manual transmission equipped car. I don't know of any auto manufacturers that would cover a clutch under warranty. Just like brakes on your car.... they wear out with use and you replace them. Same principle applies with the supercharger clutch.... it wears with use.

I can understand this explanation, but would there be anyway for a dealer to sign off on a SC thats within specs after sending it elsewhere for service, ie. GH?

That's a good question and i guess that depends on your particular dealer and how willing he is to work with you.

Now there's an idea. Jerry, you need to use your contacts to get yourself designated as something like an "Authorized Sea-Doo Supercharger Service Center" so that you can do these 100 hour rebuilds. You do the rebuild and issue a "Rebuild Certificate" that we take to the dealer who resets the ECU.

I think Jerry would end up working on SC's all day.
