    triple pipe question

    I gotta question guys..

what all would I need to do to my ski if I threw some triples on it?

    Rejet the carbs?

    What else?

    Test the pipes...

what else would I need to do, and what do you guys think with the engine mods that I have.. what would it be running?

Do you know what you're getting into running triple pipes?

Some info on what you've got to look for. Can't wait to see what you do to the new toy though

    1 x t&w crank
1 x msd total loss ignition or advent with tripple pipe curves, msd is the pick from the research i have done.
1 x Novi 48 carbs, jetted to spec
1 x novi fuel vapour fuel seperators
    1 x tripple fuel pickup
    1 x external fuel pumps
1 x full reinforcement of pump shoe (so it does not rip out along with your intake grate at the front)
1 x full ported motor, lowell style including crank cases
1 x high comp head (170psi sort of area)

this is what i have been told would work best for a tripple pipe setup for an ideal setup, there may be some things missing from that list but thats the bulk of it and how its done if following best practices....this info is from member with an indentical setup and he is doing 85+

perhaps ben herman or woody or one of those guys will chime in with more details.

its not a cheap excercise to do it properly from the figures i have compiled but you could possibly get away with much less. it really depends on what you want. i guess this is where we need help.

Im not sure you have to have all of that. But I am sure you have to have some of it for safety motor wise. Hell I say have a 6 pack, go fast, blow it up, ask questions later.

are you looking factory? or speedwerx?

    speedwerx will make more hp

Riva advent is a good way to go

but you're entering a world of constant adjustment, constant repair and definitely constant headaches !!

    I recon it's worth it
