i don't think there is a water trap on these machines, you best look on the oem parts store with the microfish so you can trace the fuel system

What makes you think Ethanol is causing the brown stuff in your tank? I have been running 10% ethanol for 4 years in my RXP and the tanks is spotless.
More than likely the place your buying gas has a bad tank and it's rusty, very common with marina gas.

Either way, you need to get that fixed before you get stranded.

    Ramell,

There is a fuel filter (sort of) in the tank attached to the bottom of the fuel pump assembly. I don't think it is a small micron filter, but will trap larger debris. I've never seen or heard of a replacement for them, but I have cleaned a couple... not an easy access item though

agreed, a lot marinas sell gas from tanks that are substandard, you will often find marina gas has water in there also. The water tends to get to be a problem especialy in Northern/seasonal places were they sell gas for a short time each year.

You can, BUT, the filter on the bottom of the pump will still become dirty and restrict flow down the line...
