    polaris electrics ? box pic

hi all first post, just brought 1999 genesis, took on sea, over the weekend, started up and went great, switched off (one button start and stop)tryed to start again, mfd came on. starter did not turn engine over, disconnected batt. then reconnected, started up again, went great, switched off. went to start, engine not turning over again, disconnect power and leave for 3 to 4mins starts up again, once off, will not start until power off then on and left for some mins, in electic box just reset button, coils and black box pvl pn 4010377, theres no board or fuse no volt reg or start stop reg as parts show for this model. ive look through this site and see ref to jumper harness for 2000 genesis as ref to my problems? will this fit my electic box.

Just remove the red/purple wire coming from the CDI (it's attached to the terminal marked red/purple) and attach it to the terminal marked orange on the terminal board.

Or is yours an injected engine??

hi all did lots of digging, looks like didnt have mod for start stop problem, ie jumper wire . disconected red/purple wire of cdi box 4010377. add piece of wire to red/purple wire coming out of cdi box. took out of ingnision box, to electrical box hiding behind removable panel, in front locker. took into electical box, added spade connector on to wire ang pushed onto orange wire lug. on circuit board, now starts and stops on testing on drive, now ready to go to sea. let you know
