    Stoker or Big Bore kit?

Has anyone heard or seen a stroker or Big Bore kit for the 4tech motor make it like a 1.8 or 2.0?

PPG had a 1600-cc kit a year or so ago. I haven't seen anything lately... Ron

Is there something about the 4-tec that keeps people away from boring them out? Cylinder walls too thin or something?

probably not as much gain to be had just by adding displacement....which bucks the old addage.

The only thing wrong with ppg's kit is the pistons CR junk.8-1

To this day I still do not think there is a replacement for displacement. I know that I would be more inclined to build a stroked and re-sleeved 4tec than a turbo 4tec. Just my .02
