    anyone make their own intake for the SHO?

    I want to make my own intake. Anyone have any idea what I will need to do it? Anyone already done it?? Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

    a work in process..... things ive found out. Intake opening is 3 inch. Tried 3in intercooling tubeing that i had lying around with k&N cone filter. DIDNT work. loss of top end. You should stay with 4in tubeing untill you connect to SC opening.

    Next im modifiying stock air box with a drop in K&N filter. So far results are promising. much snappier throttle responce and good low end pull. Still more testing to come ( no wot testing done yet).

    There was a thread where dentwizard made his own a while back, search his threads and you will see how he did it, I am going to do a version of that, just have not figured out which filter I am going to use.
