    Red face GP1300R rattles....cylinder?

    I thought he just sucked up a few rocks because after the jump it started running like shit...a pot with rocks in it.

    Any ideas? Bad cyl.? rod?

    Start it up and your heard the rock noise....and basically no power from the ski, wouldnt move far.

    I will take out the pump tomorrow.

    Is there a writeup for taking out the pump?

    could be a broken rod slapping around.. do a compression test before the rod puts a hole on the block.. My Sea Doo made the same noise you described, it put a hole in the block..

    just need to look up in there and see if something is wedged, simple thing to eliminate possible noise, and not moving condition.
    I also have heard of pumps/pump bearings causing people to believe motor was toast, process of elimination, only thing i can say based from your description...

    Just get the plugs. The plug farthest to back the whole tip is crushed from the piston

    +1 pull that head off.... Pistons dont hit spark plugs... Chunks of piston however....
