Why isn't anyone looking into ceremic coatings?
Such as Jet Hot?
I have used it in the past with great results.
You could do the exhaust manifold and pipe to keep under seat temps a little lower. I always did my own and it was pretty easy to do.
Blast clean the part, spray it with the coating and bake it in the oven to cure.
You then steel wool the part down to give it the luster you want?
Is it even worth the time??

Sounds like a great idea, I have seen the underhood temps of race car I built cut by 20-40 degrees with JetHot coatings
