    Alternative 4" hose

I found this in Black (same seller) . Looks a little more OEM than then Kanaflex hose...I know its a little pricy. I ended up with two boxes and four couplers for $50. Surely enough to run it up front. Bends easily and holds the shape. Pops in and out like an acordian boot

Interesting...you'll need about 7 feet to run to the front of the ski. Let us know how it works!

Might not be stiff enough to handle the draw of a SC...

Billy, you gonna ride with us tomorrow at Morris?

2 boxes equals 82" plus the little bit you'll gain with two couplers (one at the SC and one you'll be joining the two sections with). Should be real close to 7', give or take.

I assume the collapsed pieces shown in the auction are the couplers? Hose itself looks to be spiral wound, so probably pretty rigid. Update us after installation to let us know how it worked out. Looks like a great find, thanks for sharing.

    Hi
Quick question on the 4inch intake what are you doing with the engine breather pipe . I ride all the time in the sea so do not want to fit a breather can.

Could fit the hose in front of the filter ?

You can just route the pipe back into the intake anywhere really. It looks as tho we ski in the same waters. Well if the forts in your pic are the ones in the thames estuary?? I run a catch can but do fog the intake with lube evry few rides to stop the corrosion. If you saw how much oil fumes come out of that hose it cant be good for performance. R88
