    100hr visual truned up a surprise

    Well yesterday I decided to pop my PV covers off and have a look. I had pretty much figured out that my PV motor was not working and my RPM's were off by about 200 +/-.

    The cover from #1 showed a few 2 or 3 aluminum flakes stuck to the plate in the sludge. Cylinders 2 & 3 looked fine. After pulling the valves I found that they all showed wear, but #1 was beat up.

    The cyl's still look new with a nice crosshatch still showing. No signs of scorring that I can find. I have a set of Gas Valves comming and I'm done with the electric stuff for now.

    1.) Does anyone know what caused this though?
    2.) Hows the piston wash look? 100hrs since I put a wrench to this motor other than plugs.

    I'm going to jump on board if you dont mind and add my thread:

    I was experiencing some bogging issues from low-midrange with bad throttle response... and i was told that their might be an issue with my PV Motor. Seeing you have yours totally disassembled and I've never done it before, nor know what to look for to see if my PV Motor is operating correctly... NOR even know if these issues i am experiencing have anything to do with the PV and arent just some carb tuning adjustments.
