I really dont think any PWC company is going to up their HP as much as they will ergonomics/efficiency as the price of gas is rediculous. They might alter their engines to be more efficient and cleaner but thats what I think will be the extent IMHO.

if you want fuel economy go get something else. we buy these man toys for a reason; to mod mod mod. and mod somemore. who gives a damn bout fuel consumption. really if its a bear to you, then you need to hang up your key. these arent transportation vehicles to and from work, these are pieces of machinery we take out on the water to open up and let lose and scream yeehaw!!!

I would love to see a stroked seadoo engine to 1800cc or 2000cc. That would be a killer!!!!

Guys, guys: you don't have to buy the highest hp ski out there; if you are sensitive the price of gas, you could always go with the 155 hp..... It doesn't mean that the manufacturers shouldn't offer a high HP ski for those that want them.
Personally, I would like to see the 3 cyl turn into a 4 cyl. Then, it would be 2000 cc's. Then, a nice belt driven SC unit and we would be all set.
