Lightbulb Sea Doo Stroker Motor for '09???

Bore and Stroke for the 1.5L Rotax is 100 x 63.4.........do u guys think there is a larger displacement, stroker motor waiting in the wings for '09?

    We should do a poll?

Feel free to throw some posible bore/stroke combinations out there and c.i.d numbers.....lets see how close we can get?!?

I really dont think any PWC company is going to up their HP as much as they will ergonomics/efficiency as the price of gas is rediculous. They might alter their engines to be more efficient and cleaner but thats what I think will be the extent IMHO.

I would love to see a stroked seadoo engine to 1800cc or 2000cc. That would be a killer!!!!

Guys, guys: you don't have to buy the highest hp ski out there; if you are sensitive the price of gas, you could always go with the 155 hp..... It doesn't mean that the manufacturers shouldn't offer a high HP ski for those that want them.

Personally, I would like to see the 3 cyl turn into a 4 cyl. Then, it would be 2000 cc's. Then, a nice belt driven SC unit and we would be all set.

The poll isn't should BRP up the power, it is will they. Bron1c is right on the money, no they won't. The X series got them the biggest hp crown back last year from Kawi. People that mod their ski's do not pay BRP's bills. Average Joe Schmoo does and he is worried about gas prices. I can ride all day at my lake and see dozen's of other ski's and know that they are all stock. Plus these ski's can't go any faster from the factory. Any more hp increase and the boat will be installed with a anchor or something. Square hull. The only improvement they can make is acceleration and that is achieved with the X series.
