    Delaware River Bordentown to Philly...8/3

Doug and I met up at Mastoris Diner in Bordentown, Got our ramp pass`s afterwards, launched by 9:15-9:30 and headed to philly, topped of at Yacht Club by dave and Busters and cruised the skulkyll river up to the art museum and water works... It was a great day, weather was perfect water was perfect, I got to see some cool old buildings then we made the trek back with doug`s low fuel alarm sounding!
Thanks Doug for taking the trip!...it was a blast!...

no reason.... you had made a post earlier about not having time to ride down to the museum and what not and sticking to the plan of riding around the bordentown area

original plan was bordentown to philly, but
whole day evolved, water was very good, things went quickly, we were ahead of schedule, time back to ramp was the same/on time...

Yea, the water and the weather were FANTASTIC!!

We stopped at the Tacony bridge and debated on going all the way in and up to the art museum. Since we really made such good time we decided to go to the schuykill.
The water down to the city was smooth. Ony a few ripples and boat wakes to negotiate.
It was one of those relaxing cruising days when you just get to enjoy the scenery, weather and the nice hum of the ski..

The only concern was on the way back I was on the buzzer for a LONG TIME.. I thought for sure I was going to have to swim it back..

All in all we covered between 95-100 miles.. and today I DON'T feel like I got run over by a truck!
