    2002 Virage questions

    Good Morning to all

I have 2 questions. A friend of mine has a 2002 Virage with the 700 motor in it. When he was flushing it yesterday I noticed water coming from around the spark plug on the rear cylinder. I looked in the manual and saw that there is an oring between the dome and the cover. Could that be what is causing the leak? We are going out again today and I am going to check if it leaks while we are on the water, I assume it will.

Another question. He purchased a new ride plate. Will the factory Virage plate fit my 1996 SLT700? I am going to purchase an Ocean Pro plate but money is a little tight.

    Yes, change the oring.
