How to check a vts motor??
My VTS is not working when I push on the down button it makes a hum but it won't move. I cut the connectors off and hooked the wires together thinking it was my connectors no diff. then I checked the fuse all are good. Is their any way to make sure the motor is good or bad??

Well i made a little progress I took the motor out and checked to see if that was bad by hooking it up to a battery it would not spin so I got my plyers out and turned the gear. What do you know it was stuck now the motor turns both ways when hooked up to the battery but when I put it back together and hit the vts down all good but now it won't go up so I reverse the wires and hit down nozzle came up. so maybe its a bad switch I have to look into that now.
