    Pulse lines

I am rebuilding the carbs on my 99 XL1200Ltd. I am replacing all lines with clear tubing. Can I use the clear on the pulse lines? One more question: Is the "pulse" a pressure or a vacuum signal?

Clear tubing is no good for pulse lines.

It handles vacuum and pressure very rapidly.

OEM is the only way to go. You don't want them to collapse

anyone know what the OEM part #s are for the 3 pulse lines on a 1200 (non-pv)? I looked at boats.net and they are missing one (#50). http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Ya...TOR/parts.html

I looked it up for a 97 GP1200 and came up with 65U-24315-00-00

thanks. I think there are 2 different part #s with 65U-24315-00-00 and with 65U-24314-00-00 for the pre-formed lines that have specific bends.
