Yacht Club Trailers - any good???
I've posted a couple of times, but mostly lurking over the past few years and was hoping for some help.
I found a 4 place Yacht Club trailer that I'm considering purchasing and was wondering who out there has used one/owned one or know someone who's used/owned one.
Are they any good? How do they hold up over time? How do they compare to the other 4-place trailers out there?

Not sure on the 4 place trailers but the Yacht club single and double trailers are about all you can buy here. They are heavy steel and seem to be well made. But given the choice I would opt for the Triton aluminum trailers.

Thanks for the response - Any reason in particular on preferring the Triton??
Quality of build, weight difference, reputation, all of the above??

That would be it for me, lighter weight, re sale value and overall appearance.

oh - great point, I didn't think of resale...what if I'm on the good end of crappy resale value? I can probably get a 4 place for ~2500 and I think the Triton's are 4500+

I do not think that you will have any problems with the Yacht Club trailers. This is the 3rd or 4th one that I have had without problems. The price looks good for a 4 place trailer.
