    s/c shaft nut torque

    wondering if anyone knew what is the torque in foot pounds of the s/c shaft nut? do i need thread locker also? thanks

    22 ft/lbs. Some use a little blue Loctite... others use none at all.

    i use red loctite on that bolt, don't want that one coming loose!

    I assumed you were talking about the nut that holds the impeller on and not the nut that holds the clutch/drive gear. The impeller nut does not call for Loctite, whereas the clutch/drive gear nut does.

    lol no no no but i appreciate the quick response. but im wondering about the nut that holds the clutch/drive gear all together.

    Yes, Spinyard is correct, 22 ft/lbs and some red Loctite.
