Riva Gen 2 IC that much better or ???

My Riva IC leaked and caused some problems, I'm looking at going with the Gen 2 but is it that much better than the original or would I be better off getting a X model IC with Jerrys relocation kit?

The GenII IC is the Sea Doo X boat IC with Riva's piping and bracket so it can be mounted in the older designed RXP/Ts. I think the relocation kit is sourced from Riva, so it would come down to packagew price as to which is better since they are the same thing.

Someone was selling their Gen2 IC in the classifieds the other day because they said the acceleration and throttle response wasn't as good as their Riva Gen1 IC was.

I'm trying my gen 1 cooler tmrw on my p-x. See how it reacts to it. Wanted to run my rear air setup and wanted my aluminum piping and it was sitting there just begging to be used so why not.
