    Rude Charger vs. C-Kit

Anyone know how much boost the Rude makes @ 8100 RPM? The C-kit boasts a 15.2 @ 8100 . Is it worth the extra 1000$ ( With Shipping ).

Also would the R&D 4" Intake adapter fit either of these chargers?

Yea, that 15.2 is at the CHARGER to my knowledge. Not sure what it's making at the manifold at those RPM, depends on IC and intake stuff too. I know the Rude is making a little over 12psi at the manifold with the Riva Gen1 IC at 8100 RPM and I believe that's with a Riva rear intake.

those are good numbers but because of budget limitations, (I'm 17) I plan to keep the stock ECU. Anyone have boost numbers for around 8100?

Doesn't the ECU kill the reliability?

you gotta buy the riva vt kit if you go with the riva ecu... i would say forgo both c kit and rude and go with a x-charger or rude and stay with the stock ECU. put the extra money into other things that will increase performance like an external IC, modded ride plate, etc.

With the 2004 RXP if you up the rev limit with an ECU you're going to have to #1 upgrade your valve springs as with any other model, #2 upgrade your injectors to 50# to run with the Riva ECU, #3 upgrade your valves because the '04 models had a lot of valve issues even at stock ECU RPM, #4 upgrade your flywheel bolts because they have been noted to back out on stock '04 and especially at higher RPM. I see no problem with upgrading the ECU on an '06 and up RXP, but on an '04 or '05 there tends to be a little more work and $$$ involved.
