VTS ROD modification for Pump wedge

I installed my Riva 2 degree pump wedges on my two RXT this past weekend. My 2005 RXT picked up a little speed GPS 67.2 but doesn't feel like it's getting enough water intake, go I have the Riva Intake grate coming in the mail now. I did the pump wedge on my RXT-X and it was throwing the jet wash way up in the air!! was cool looking.. also would stand almost straight up when I took off with full trim up. the RIVA VTS rod is 89.95 plus shipping! the stock plastic rod is thick enought to cut in two. (about 2 inches from the end) drill and use a 1/4 20 tap, and install about a three inch 1/4 all steel rod. this will give you adjustable from 1/4 to 3/4 inch. about 1/4 is all you need to get the VTS back in alignment.

can post pictures if anyone wants. total time was 20 minutes to do this mod, and under 5 bucks in parts.

On the '05 try adding the skegs. I did wedge and skegs at the same time and it made a world of difference.
