    VTS rear exhuast question?

Why do you have to take off the VTS motor to put on the rear exhaust, and does it stay off?

    Thanks

Just went though this tonight for a PPG power pipe. The sound supressor box on the stock exhaust system will not come out of the rear corner of your hull with the VTS box in place.

I have the riva intake system too 3" and I had to take the front bolts out and then turn it and shove it forward to get the box out. Basically you have to pull the pump and remove the VTS nut in the hull to get it out or you can use a crows foot socket. I personally don't have one bit enough so I pulled the pump and loostened the nut with a bit sent of needle nose pliers.

Cut the part off where the exhaust goes in and out. It will come right out.

Why would you want to destroy that piece if you ever had to go back to stock the price of that piece I am sure is just stupid from BRP. It takes less then 20 mins to remove the pump and VTS and save the part.
