remove waterline to water box
has any one removed the water line that goes into the back of the water box? i did and ran it out the side then spliced a water inlet line and put a low werks valve on it set to 3000 rpms. the line is 1/2 in but the water box fitting opening is like a pinhole. I can't really tell a diff. i think it might be a little sluggish on high mid and top end now. i later realized i ran the water out un restricted (originally went through pinhole to box) and i think too much water is comming out of that bypass. the oem one now barely has any water comming out, so i think i will but a flow control valve (turn knob style) on it ans see if that will better circulate the water and still keep the little extra water out of the box under 3000 rpms.
does this make sense? Has anyone tried anything similar?
i want more hole shot, no i need it! thanks
