    VF2 Users - past and present ...

Guys, I have a brand new set of VF2's (WM143-3 or something like that) and have mixed feelings about installing them. So please could you let me know your experiences , both good and bad, and if you used a spacer plate or note , rejetted bla bla bla... (skid is basically unported 1200r tiva stage II plus extras)

    thanks

I had them on a 1200r with NO spacer plate. First 10 hours I broke a reed petal. After replacing it another 2 hours went by and I broke another. After those two breaking I rode another 30 hours trouble free but after tearing it down a couple had severe fraying.

There are tons of guys that have had no problems with them so go figure.

I used the VF3's in my build for this year. It was just way to much work to get down to the reeds.

Philip, yes I think I will go with the spacer but who stocks them in the U.S. as I have all my shipments delivered to Miami before bringing them here and I think Powderlites are in Canada - sounds even more complicated than usual ?

MRBTD ; yeh man I know what you mean !!!!

Me and one of my buddies are both running the 2's. His is an 03 and mine is an 05. We both have 40-50 hours on them with no problems. Def made a difference in performance. No spacer used on either one.
