    Yamaha Gp1200r Milled Head

Hey guys hows it going, i have all the mods listed in my sig and want to know if i can go to a local machine shop and have my head decked. If so how much should i have them take off? Or will i need it also domed by someone with some jetski experience.

You need to have the domes cut as well as the deck surface milled.....this is really a job for the 2-stroke experienced shops...

.....and since you are in new york you may be able to get Carl @ Island racing to do it for ya......Jim is a great choice as well....I had one cut by RIVA that turned out great too.....

Another possibility is just keeping your eyes open for a set of aftermarket heads on the classified ad section. I picked up a great Pro-tec billet model for pretty cheap a few days ago.
