4-tec in an x-4 hull
Will a 4-tec engine fit in an X-4 hull?

I think it should if you cut open the sides so the intake and exhaust will clear. You would then have to place bubbled panels out of the sides.
I think it would launch like a beast, now into a turn would be another story.

I bought a 2008 RXP-X and I have to say, it is fast and plenty quick, but it has a wide boat feel and it is heavy at almost 800 lbs. Now thats a boat!
Now if I could put a 4-tec into my 96 XP that would be enough to crap my pants!
What do you think a XP/SPX would weigh with a 4-tec engine? Maybe 600 lbs total? That would still be 200 lbs lighter then an RXP.
