    Oil change on SHO

I searched for this and couldn't find anything. When i tryed to suck out the oil i could only get aprox. .5 liter out. does anybody have a procedure for this thanks in advance. Yamaha never did it on the 10hr service said it didn't need it till 50 hrs, which i think is a cop out. he went on to say it was a pain in the azz.

    2008 SHO Oil Change

I am having a similar issue. The extractor tube goes down the oil dipstick tube about 55CM and then stops. I got a little less than 2 L out. How do I get the last liter? I read somewhere that 65CM was how far it had to go down, but I can't get there. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

i had my ski slightly down in the front so the oil goes to the front of the pan and got it all with a pump oil extractor

Thanks Wave. I tried tilting it in all four directions, but 2 L is all I can get.
