    power flow plenum

    Hi guy's

    im looking at getting an R&D power flow plenum,for gsx 800. are they easy to set.ie fuel mix? or is it just a bolt on and go?

    By power flow plenum, do you mean flame arrestors? If so then you should re-jet your carbs. To what sizes is dependent on what is in them already.

    No, you'll need needles and seats and a bigger main jet. the hi screw will go out a half turn or so too.

    actually, you just need a bigger pilot. i had the same f/a on my 1997 gtx, 142.5 mains (stock), 75 pilot, 2.0 n/s, 80gram spring.

    you will need to open up the highs. i had mine set at 3/4 on the mag and 7/8 on the pto. never fouled a plug in 3 years.
