What you're seeing is the underside of the top piece. When you flip it over and bolt it on, those cones face small end down and look and work just like the OP's, Proks, Jetinetics, and HotSeat pieces. Suppose to help the air make a nice smooth transition into the carbs.

That's a Chopper City piece...fairly highly sought after, from what I've seen. Nobody ever wants to cough them up. I know Doug was looking for one. Yeah, $20 was a deal.

    drool

i saw it but i would have sold it to someone else after running my beaters across it.was looking or the polished one a while back but no longer, only problem i see with it is it was made when the 38's were being run and the f/a base fits them better than the 40's,but its got cool bling appeal,30 bucks was a good deal

I had one of those (got it for $25 a few years ago)...did absolutely nothing and sold it soon afterward. You got a good price for it but like I said, it's not worth anything accept for looks. It does allow for water to be sucked down in the carbs easier...unless you can get a cover for it.
