I too would like to see some data, before going out and spending bucks on this mod.

    1. Is it better than the original pump for smooth water. Speed loss or gain?
    2. Is it better than the original pump for rough water. Subjective, I know.
    3. What props are available?
    4. What package have you tested this with.

    thanks as well.

Yes, tested it back to back with OEM 1300 pump, it was almost 2 mph gain and SKat-like hook-up. No kidding. Best mod for the buck for single-pipers.

Wow, let me know Mark. The stator in my XL1200L is damaged, so I want to install the stator from my GPR in the XL, then up-grade the GPR to the 05' pump. So PW, what prop were you running in the 05' pump to gain 2 MPH?

It was exactly 1.8mph and we used a bone stock Solas 14/20 impellor..eventhough it was mis-matched it worked. Go figure.

Great info, thanks. So you never tried any scat props with the 05' pump. I heard the scat works great with that pump.

Per the Riva board, and I think originally Fernando, I'm going to try the 05 with the Dynafly...with a Wetwolf AAT to adjust outlet size.
