My RXP-X with 32 hours has just had a full topend re-build????

Yes guys , my ski has had a full top end rebuild and a re bore with 32 hours on the clock, is this the first RXP-X to have a full top end re build?

I will tell the story soon , but I will also say I have had two electric bilge pumps fitted

you must of had water injested, thats very low hours for pistons and valves, any rods fitted? did you injest salt water and leave the bores to fester?

    Right here is the tale:-

Went out on my ski with two friends, the surf was about 6 foot high with some waves up to 8 foot just before they were breaking, one of my friends , who has had a FXHO for about 3 years asked me for a go on my ski, I had a go on his ski at the same time. He was pulling jumps off the waves and landing the ski rear end first , then doing the same stunt straight away on the next wave.
Next thing I saw was my ski upside down with this idiot turning it right way up .He then tried to get on it ,but he could not manage it.I then jumped off his ski and tried to get on mine, I could not get on as there was a lot of water inside the hull.

I was now getting into the whit water of the waves breaking , so I just had no choice but to hang on and get washed to the shore.

When I got to the edge of the water I took the seat off the ski and could not beleve my eyes , the water was over the engine. The three of us turned the ski onto its side and poured all the water out.

I then pushed the ski out into deeper water and jumped on it and started the ski ( this might have been a bad move , but I think the damage had already been done by my ex friend) the ski started straight away , but what I did notice was that it had lost a few hundred revs, it was only revving to 7200 revs.

I took the ski to the dealer and he found that there was a bent conrod and scored barrel and other damage , the valves were ok and so was the supercharger.

I did get two bilge pumps fitted also , the ones that run every 20 seconds.

When I told my ex friend what had happened , he told me that I had sunk my ski and that there was a design fault on the ski , also he said that i should sue BRP .

The message I want to get across is :-

DONT LET NO ONE RIDE YOUR SKI UNLESS YOU TRUST THEM!!

I learned the hard way .

DUde that sucks how did water fill in so fast....did you remove the two pipes up front and the rear pipe in the back......cause removing those will injest water real quick if it flips....

Yea no one rides my SH*T unless I have a credit card in hand and not one that is maxed out either....

I did not remove any pipes, the ski filled up with water because the ars*hole kept jumping the waves and when landing the ski was being sub merged,
