Wear ring install
When I took out my old wear ring it looked like it was spinning in the pump. My buddie actually broke his and spit it out. The dealer says use a locktite product when putting it back in. What should I use to keep it in there? I think I use Ultra Black sealer to mount the pump to the hull can I use that to keep wear ring in also?

drill two small pilot holes a tthe bottom of the pump, niddle of the ring and install two small (3/8") self tapping hex head screws to kepe it from spinning. i wouldn't use any sealant or it will be next to impossible to remove when it needs to come out....or it could swell when curing or who knows. ensure you use screws of appropriate length that they won't penetrate into the inside diameter of the wear ring and casue bindgin of the impeller. all new pumps are like that.

I'm about to do this also I got a new prop so I got a wear ring also For those screws do you mean like a little pan head? And I'm assuming you need a right angle drill also?
