    how to remove the storage box under the?

    anyone tell me how to remove the glove box under the steering column. im guessing its some type of clip but i dont want to break them. thanks

    I actually did this coule days ago installing my 4" intake and is pretty simple.

    Open the lid to the glove box.
    While holding the lid open
    Look into the glove box side next to the seat and you will see two tabs.
    Push those towards the seat
    Then lift the glove box out.

    It is not the whole sourounding plastics that comes out just the lid and the sorage is what lifts out. I originally thought it was the whole thing.

    On the RXP There are three tabs total...Two on the sides were it curves and one in the back..The easiest way to get them out is to take out the plastic tube that runs underneithe the glove box..Then you can reach up from the hole and push the clips in..You are also gonna have to loosen up the side fenders cause they slide into the side of the glove box for extra support...

    RXP is different, not like a 3-seater, which is 2-parts...

    Yes, it has clips that pop in, but the side trim parts have little clips that insert into notches under the storage box...you need to pull them ot a little to get the tray out....

    why not just run the line to a switch next to the DESS post?
