    Riva Stage 1 Kit...Need Input

So I just installed a riva stage 1 kit on my RXP-X, busted out the radar gun, went to a lake I knew would be smooth as glass and made a few passes. I have 2 RXP-Xs one stock the other Riva stage 1 kit both have 15 hours. Made 3 passes with each both had 1/3 tank of 92 and it was 75 degrees, with a water temp of 80 degrees. I live in MN so we are about 500ft above sea level.
    Stock 1st pass 68.9
    2nd pass 68.7
    3rd pass 68.8 all passes 8080 rpm
    Riva stage 1
    1st pass 69.9
    2nd pass 69.8
    3rd pass 69.8 all passes 8040 rpm

Any of you guys have any ideas, lets just say Im not that impressed. Maybe I am missing something. Any help would be great!
    Thanks Guys

    You're missing a lot!

Do you have all the components of the kit installed?

    Grate?
    Reduction nozzle?

So you put the whole kit on:

Air Intake, Intake Grate, 15/22 impeller, 2* wedge, VTS Rod, and Reduction Nozzle (obviously)?

Im glad to hear that...They both did that too. Thats way I was a little depressed with the stage 1 kit. Im sure I must be missing something. My 2004 RXPs went 71.9 with rivas stage 1 kit.

Once I get this sorted out, what should I do next?
