    Reduction nozzle use on RXT/GTX

Anyone use the Riva pro reduction nozzle kit in Jerry's store
    on a 3 seater????
Want to get some input before I plunk down $340.00

Could these be used to adjust for air/water temps as opposed
    to changing out/ repitching impellers?

    Thanks for any input

Have you tried using the other sizes yet?????
If so, what happened: rpms up, down, better holeshot, better
    top end, etc etc

You will get the best top speed when you pitch the impeller to run max RPM's with the 81 mm ring.

I have it on mine and found I get the best speed and throttle response with the 82mm ring. Which is also reccomended to be run with the stage 3 setup. I hated the 81mm ring, I lost speed and accelaration, it just felt like a turd. Each ski is different so what works on one doesnt necesarily mean it will work the same on another. I noticed about 20 RPM difference between each of them. 83mm 8140, 82mm 8120, 81mm 8100.

unless Riva got their head out of the ARSE do not order this part for a RXT or GTX,

I ordered one for my RXT-X (same as RXT) and they sent one for a RXP I called and was told this is the only one they have so you must remove OPAS (most do) and drill and tap 2 holes for the steering nozzle

I could have just ordered at the wrong time and talked to the wrong person so please just ask before you spend the bucks

i have just fitted the RIVA pro-series reduction nozzle today to my RXT-X with no problems, fitted perfectly & no alterations to be made, i live in UK & bought the parts from 4 Tech performance on this site along with all other mods listed 2 weeks ago, cant fault em !

i to was looking for what difference each of the rings would make but after reading this thread i guess i will just have to try em all & see whats best,

(will be testing with speed gun next weekend & will let you know results)
