CNC Designers needed
Just thinking outloud.
Ya know, I would have thunk by now, that at least ONE gpr freak would be proficient with CAD/CAM, Solid Works, or any of those other programs.
There is about a bazillion improvements we could make, if only we had a designer.
Think about a few:
1. A billet intake shoe, hollowed out to save wieght, yet seal PERFECTLY to the pump tunnel.
2. Matching intake grate.
3. Domes for whatever head design you choose.
4. mmmmm. Billet pumps.
5. Intake manifolds, down draft or even slightly tilted would be nice.
6. Oil cap.
7. Pump wedges.
8. Steering bling, bling.
9. Billet sponsons, with hollowed out backing plates.
10. One piece Backplate, and shoe!
11. Professional looking steering cable extensions.
12. Your imagination.

Yeah, I'm not real good at staying between the lines.
Not to mention the fact that everyone is quick to throw spears. It just pushes me on.

I am in the midst of designing a tie down to hold a gpr on a trailer when the trailer is in motion. I am very close to a break through!

You could post that picture over at Riva, when the next PISSING contest starts up again....

Don't forget forged cases and jugs.

Ya know, if we could JUST get jugs and heads, to handle 90mm slugs, it would be a heck of a show!

Considering the tendency for R&D intake grates to spontaneously explode, I would LOVE a SS grate.
