One thing I have found is that just putting a kit on does nothing. You have to tune, modify, test, modify, test and keep testing and modifying. Its amazing what a little change can make one way or the other, but one thing I have found is what works on one ski does not work on another. Like Pistonwash says, all the tips are all here on the forums (Riva/Green Hulk/Hydrotoys). I cannot tell you how many hours I spend a day reading and researching very old and new threads to find out what to try out on my ski. But it does pay off at the end. I'm behind the power curtain considering the speeds others are getting, but hopefully my Christmas bonus will help make a difference.
Tomorrow I'm removing the stock trim tabs just to see what difference it makes in ride and speed. I know this has been tested before, but it seems like all mods are different on all skies. Ultimately I will put them back on but I just want to know for myself what it does for my ski. I will post tomorrow after I test with the results.
Below is a pic of the spreadsheet I've been keeping since June 5. It doesn't go into details but just general entries. I have a separate log that goes into detail of what I have done, but its too much to post.

Awsome. It's always great to beat your previously best top speed.
Nice job on the spreadsheet too. I wish i had started something like that from the beginning.

I'm thinking you need more prop. RPMS "seem" too high. Consider 12/19 next??? I think you got a free mph right there.

Nice progress, except for the swan. Have you fully recovered from that?
Great way to look at data.

J-ME, the nose is healed, but when I sneeze I can still feel cracking. Doctor said it should be another couple of weeks. Now when I go ride I'm a lot more carefull...thanks.

Took the stock trim tabs off and the speed did increase.
I got 72.1MPH GPS at 7230RPMs with fuel at 4 bars. Usually my top speeds were when the ski was at 2 bars.
One thing I did notice was the ski now porpoises a little when going WOT. I have R&D trim tabs coming in this week and will test again to see if there is a difference. Just hoping for good weather next weekend.

Where are you riding next weekend?
SMW and I would like to ride with you if possible.
Do you have his #?

Just got off the phone with SMW. Come up so we can ride. We are riding on the Barnegat Bay and its been pretty good.
Its getting colder, but there are several more weekends of riding.
