    plastic spurs inside pump

    with pump shaft issue today with pump out there is little plastic spurs that stick up to match with vains in pump half of mine are broke off has anybuddie cut them down smooth with the pump to elimenate them .Is there a possiblity there are causing a turbilince in the pump to create air pockets

    Yes and yes. It's an all or nothing thing. You need either all plastic fins or none or else you'll cavitate from it (air pockets).

    +1 to what Fizzle stated. I am sure they are good for something but i was hoping that they deleted the fins on the 08 models but there still there. Cant wait till a get my chiped so i can remove them. joking.

    Strange my GTXL doesn't have the fins on the pump shoe I would have figured that the RXTs wouldn't have them either.

    The RXTs dont have them..they are only on the RXPs...

    It looks like the 08' T-X models have them also now..

    Looks like they added them on the T-Xs models for 08'

    They are on my '07 S150. I was just swapping out the Prop today and was lookin at them to make sure they were all still there.
