    Bought me a Honda

Its a 2004 R-12X w 50 hrs, near mint. Zach-Super nice guy bought it new in crate on 03/27/2007, so it only had about a year of use, and has been fully maintained at the Honda dealership...so far and he met me about half-way from his place in MS to mine in AL
Carried it to the lake as soon as I got back and it performed fantastic.
Fired right up (very quiet) and ran superb. Waxed an FX cruiser (not SC) and hit speeds of 68 on the speedo-we didn't have my GPS with me so no idea on the real speed, but it felt really fast, there is/was no turbo "lag" that was very noticeable, power comes on in full force, has the trim handle where you squeeze and cut it around on a dime...very nice.
The only thing....on one side of the river bridge, the water was rough, very rough...was like riding a wild stallion, almost unbearable to the jewels. The upside, it is usually very smooth where we are so, that won't be too bad of a problem. Thanks to DavDman for advising me on this thing.

Be sure to lube the waste gate linkage frequently.

JR...is there a HOW TOO on that? I don't have a manual or anything on this one right now.

How does it compare to your GP1200R?
And yes despite the FX very close horsepower rating, the Honda turbos R, and F will spank a FX out of the hole despite the turbo lag.

When you look down on top of the turbo, you will see the pneumatic bellows that push/pulls on the linkage that moves the waste gate rod going into the turbo. Spray all of the above, especially where the rod enters the turbo with CRC256/CRC656 lube frequently.

PM superjim, he has a kit for 150 bucks that is supposed to make the honda turbo's live up to what they should be... I don't want to break being stock... but oh so tempting!

Solid, will do...SOLD my GP1200R(that I owned for one day) to a good friend, so I will get to ride it...and bought a matching F-12X for my wife...I cannot believe I stayed away from the Hondas...they are awesome.
I promise pics by the weekend!
