Finished Rebuild, Have MAJOR carb issue... HELP!
I finally got my ski back together… All the new mods, ne top end. refresh carbs, etc…
I am not getting fuel through the carbs… I am getting fuel TO the carbs (my primer pulls fuel from the fuel rail, and I have primed the fuel lines full of fuel with a primer bulb. If I put gas down each (or any) cylinder, it will run until the gas is gone. I have put fuel in the carbs and it will run until the fuel is gone. The engine will increase rpm when I give it throttle until the fuel I supplied is gone. Cylinder compression is 145, 145, 145. Pulse lines are good. I pressured up the fuel tank and it is pretty air tight.
Here is the rub. I can not draw fuel out of the return line. If I blow into the return line, I can hear the gas tank bubble. Is it possible I put the pump bodies on backward? If 1 set of check vales backward (unlikely) would that show these symptoms? I am using a dual fuel supply, and I know the fuel supply hoses are correct.
I am about to pull the carbs. If there is anything ANYONE can think of (to keep me from pulling the rack) I am all ears!

It was just that the return line was so long... I looked like it FIT on the back of the carbs. and WHY would the Fuel line be SO FAR AWAY from the pump-less gas tank?
