    Impeller shaft

Hey guys, i was just taking a look under my ski, for the first time really, and notice my inpeller shaft has hundreds of little spots of rust all around it. Is this normal?? also when people refer to filling the ride plate holes, they are referring to where the bolts go in right? can u just use silastic to plug the holes?

    Thankyou..

Yes it is possible to have small rust spots on your driveshaft..As far as the rideplate holes go, click on the link below ..It should answer any questions you might have.

Shouldn't the shaft be stainless?? I have only got 17 hours on the ski and this has happened already?? Will this cause me a problem down the track?
    Thanks for the link
