Hey guys, i was just taking a look under my ski, for the first time really, and notice my inpeller shaft has hundreds of little spots of rust all around it. Is this normal?? also when people refer to filling the ride plate holes, they are referring to where the bolts go in right? can u just use silastic to plug the holes?

I have heard were the salt can leave small rust spots on the shafts...Even stainless..Salt is definatly the enemy to our crafts no doubt..
