    My piston wash pt. 2

Well I pulled my heads for the 3rd time after riding on Sunday and I am puzzled at the results. From the looks of it, all 3 cylinders look to be running extremely lean, but I had been running at these settings for a solid 3 hours, most of which was at WOT and I had zero problems. I would check the temp throughout the day and each cylinder wasn't running extremely hot where I couldn't touch it; seemed like normal running temperature. I'm running 50:1 premix. For jetting I am running 77 pilots & 107.5 mains. Any ideas?

Even the plugs looks decent. PTO-CENTER-MAG:

50:1 is alittle iffy i would go 40:1 to be safe

40:1 as Lugs said. Open the ctr 1 and mag 1/2

For that drastic a change I'd also verify the fuel system. Get a fuel pressure gauge on that bad boy.

Hey do me a favor and check your head gaskets I think you have them off the large coolant hole should be at 5 o'clock and yours is at 7, from the carb side. That is going to effect your coolant and jetting

    I'll make the necessary changes
    • align head gaskets
    • open jets
    • 40:1 premix
and I'll see what everything looks like after the next run. I was just surprised at the results because it ran fantastic all day. Hopefully I'll have it dialed in after this next time out.
