    power valve location?

on my 2001 GP1200R, where exactly are the power valves located? i have an idea, are they on the manifold side of the exhaust, with the four bolts on each small square plate bolted down? I think that i need to make sure that they are clean and working well. how do i do this? i have 75 hrs on my ski, thanks

ok, do waveeater clips replace power valves or what? are they difficult to install? I already have a d plate, 150 comp. head, 13/19 impeller, top loader grate, and riva ride plate

Nope, they just snap on over the stock powervalve retainers. Buy a set of clips and couplers and check the instructions... it's easy!

And if you have a high-comp head, you should think about rejetting your carbs and installing t-handle adjusters.
