WE pull the intake mani first. Then unbolt the mounts. Lift engine a tiny bit to shift the motor towards the inatke side to get room to get the exhuast manifold out.
Sometimes we get lazy and leave the charger on but you run the risk of banging things up.

thanks skip i removed intake then moved engine to the side couldnt see how i would lift it out with the s/c on as its so wide so i pulled the charger out and left the exhaust alone from the water box i didn't want to disturb those gaskets. as it turned out it came out easily. hope it all goes back in just as easy but guessing otherwise.
